January 31 deadline for ISC, ICSE scores

Schools were earlier given a window of about four months to complete the practicals, the last date being February 28

Schools have been requested to submit the marks of projects and practical work of the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) students to the council by January 31.

“You are requested to submit the marks for all subject/s Project & Practical work through the Internal Assessment Module on the Careers Portal latest by Monday, 31st January 2022 and not by 28th February 2022,” reads the circular from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to school heads.

Schools were earlier given a window of about four months to complete the practicals, the last date being February 28.

Now, the schools have to complete the practicals by January.

The ICSE and ISC semester 1 theory exams are under way.

The ICSE exams will end on December 16 and the ISC exams on December 20.

“...the schools are advised to ensure the candidates complete all Project work and Practical files for the subject/s and submit the same at the earliest. Practical work too will need to be planned and executed in a phased manner and completed as soon as possible,” the circular said.

The council also appreciated the assistance by school heads regarding the conduct of examinations.

“The CISCE sincerely appreciates all the assistance and support extended till date by the Heads of Schools and their Staff in the conduct of these examinations and would like this to continue till the successful completion of the same,” the circular said.
