It was a day filled with fun and frolic ahead of ringing the holiday bells with Christmas hymns, carols, songs and of course some wonderful performances
The junior choir mesmerised the audience by singing popular numbers like “The Little Donkey”; “Away in a Manger”; “When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney” and more
Frosty the Snowman made a special appearance during the song and helped spread the joy of Christmas
The naughty green grinch failed to steal the Christmas as everyone in the audience was immersed in high Christmas spirits
The senior school choir performed “We Three Kings” while the teachers took part in the event by singing “The First Noel.”
How can any Christmas event conclude without the traditional Jingle Bells which was performed here with a rocky twist!
The programme culminated amid applause for the students who helmed the entire event. From decorations to performances, everything was managed by them
The event was also attended by members of Shibasram, an old-age home
Amita Prasad, director, Indus Valley World School said, “This is not only about a musical performance. It is about enrichment. It is through arts that children learn language, children are exposed to culture, they learn refinement and discipline. So, it’s not just about a show.”
