Cafe the Eggspresso celebrated Labour Day with some rickshaw-pullers of Kolkata. The south Kolkata cafe arranged a unique lunch for around 35 rickshaw-pullers

Cafe the Eggspresso celebrated the spirit of hard work and discussed in an interactive session how their life can be made better. They enjoyed a sumptuous meal of sattu crush, mutton biryani along with raita and salad. For the desserts, there was ice cream

Pradipta Chatterjee, co-owner of the cafe, said: “This Labour Day, we celebrated to create awareness about their indispensable role in our daily lives. It is important for everyone to mirror the same feelings back to them empathetically. We feel content by taking this initiative and making them feel special. Everyone’s support will be a tribute to the strength of labour and community spirit. For the betterment of their future, we should stand together by encouraging them”
