Appearing for the board, advocate Lakshmi Gupta submitted that the contentions made by Justice Gangopadhyay in his verdict were incorrect.

The lawyer said all the appointments were in compliance with rules.

Gupta also contradicted Justice Gangopadhyay’s observations that there was an error in the process of conducting aptitude tests of the candidates.

Appearing for the candidates who had allegedly been deprived of jobs, advocate Tarunjyoti Tiwari tried to show that the candidates with lesser marks than his clients were given jobs.
