Kolkata experienced a rainy day on Friday. According to IMD, a low-pressure system is created over northeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6km above mean sea level. It is likely to become a well-marked low pressure area and move north westwards towards north Odisha and adjoining West Bengal coasts during next 48 hours. Enhanced rainfall activity is likely to occur between September 29 and October 3 over the districts of West Bengal
