Biswarup Dey, councillor of ward number 48 in Bowbazar, on Monday distributed compensation forms among residents and traders of the area who were affected by the East-West Metro tunnelling work. The West Bengal government had asked Kolkata Metro Railway to compensate families whose houses had developed cracks with Rs 5 lakh each within a month.
