Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is holding a five-day school leadership programme at the CISCE East Zone Office in Kolkata from July 24. The workshop will be attended by school principals, vice-principals, headmistress, director, academic advisor, head of elementary school, evenly represented across all regions in India and abroad.
The programme is held to focus on discussing the implementation of National Education Policy 2020 and other global educational trends that will help school heads to function the CISCE affiliated schools better.
The programme will be led by two resource persons from the National Institute of Education (NIE) International, Singapore— Jimmy Tan, educationist at NIE International and Nanyang Technological University and Chan Vee Bun, external consultant at NIE International.
The school leadership programme is specially designed by NIE International to take education progressively forward keeping up with the recent trends and requirements. It aims to shift the mindsets of the school leaders on schooling and positively prepare them to effectively implement many of the policies of the NEP 2020.
The workshops will include interactive sessions between the school leaders and resource persons.
