Chhota Bheem and his friends are all set to visit schools in Kolkata and engage primary section students in fun activities.
The School Contact Programme, conducted by Cartoon Network and POGO, will be held at MP Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School, The BSS School, Assembly of God Church, St Thomas Boys and Girls schools and National English School over the next few weeks.
Each visit will include a 45-minute session of interactive games, an audio-visual resonating with the theme of each school contact programme and a visit by the mascots. The kids will also receive POGO and Cartoon Network goodie bags.
The outreach programme aims to engage more than 1 million children from about 1,100 schools across 13 cities like Mumbai, New Delhi (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad), Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Surat.
Uttam Pal Singh, head of Kids’ Cluster, South Asia, Warner Bros Discovery said, “This annual school engagement initiative is an essential part of our fan-first strategy, giving the kids an opportunity to be closer to their animated friends. We always look at connecting with our audience in a unique way and this year’s themes of both channels promise a whole new level of fun, thrill and adventure.”
