The family conducted his shradh ceremony at their ancestral home in Rajasthan on Sunday, said a member of the Baid family.
Baid, 63, was kidnapped and killed while his killer had collected the ransom of Rs 25 lakh and managed to slip out of the grip of police who were present at the spot.
“What is sad is the fact that the ransom was paid in the presence of the cops. I wish the killer was arrested right on the spot,” one of the family members told Metro.
