Belgachia Metro station declared as a Health Station on Doctors Day

Metro Railway declared Belgachia Metro station as a Health Station on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day on July 1.

A health kiosk has been set up at the station where different pathological tests from National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)-accredited labs, including important blood tests and ECGs will be done.

The programme was organised in collaboration with Theism Diagnostics and senior officers of Metro Railway and executives of Theism Group were present.

Three free health camps were organised where orthopaedics, general physicians and dentists were present to check different health parameters of daily Metro commuters.

Satyaki Nath, principal chief operations manager, Metro Railway, in his address, stressed the importance of regular health check-ups.

Metro commuters can get their blood tests done from the health kiosk at Belgachia Metro station and the report will be sent to their phone. Other primary medical facilities will also be provided in emergency at Belgachia Metro station.

Recently, Park Street Metro station was renamed to IIHM Park Street Metro and Sovabazar Sutanuti Metro Station to Anjali Jewellers Sovabajar Sutanuti Metro station.
