Toyroom, the UK-based chain of nightclubs, is finally here in Kolkata to change the party game in the city. Located on the first floor of the heritage building, Galleria 1910, on Camac Street, Toyroom is one of the hottest chains that is elevating the after-dark vibes in London, Dubai, Istanbul, Rome, Mykonos, Athens, Sao Paulo and now in India. And it brings to the city its eclectic vibe, potent concoction and Frank, the mascot of the plush party address, who will make sure the party animal in you is well fed and bred.
Occupying a whooping 6,000sq ft, the upscale party den scores with its classic yet chic and pop and bling set-up that works out well in setting the mood. The lobby is grand and glitzy with matrix-controlled ceiling lights, old-fashioned disco lights and classic chandeliers that illuminate the space and give it a party-perfect touch. Also, they are synced with the music and that makes it mind-blowing.
We love how the space adds quirk to the interiors with the signature stuffed toy in hazelnut brown. We found a bunch of them adding to the façade of the curvy island and also covering the tall chairs at the entrance that will entice you to lounge.

Toyroom has a lot of visual treats with quirky neon signs and artwork, and this fun take on the ‘Last Supper’ caught our eye.
Toyroom can accommodate 350 party animals and its strewn with luxe furniture that are comfy and stylish.
This corner is the perfect representation of the visual treat that Toyroom provides. Pop art, quirky text, and the mascot chair make for a perfect Insta feed.

Ashish said, “We started our journey from Delhi where we brought this international brand first time to India and then to Mumbai. I’m a typical Marwari and my roots are from Kolkata, everyone in my family is from Kolkata, so I have this emotional connection with the city. That’s why I always wanted to open something like this, with an international brand value, which will leave a mark on everybody’s mind. Toyroom Kolkata will be a high-energy bar and of course a glamourous nightclub where we will be serving cuisines like Chinese, Japanese, Indian along with premium liquor.” Akshay added, “I’m feeling very excited about the opening of Toyroom here in Kolkata. Kolkata is a booming place now and I’ve seen F&B really growing here for the past couple of years with different international brands. And now I think Kolkata is ready for our brand with our kind of vibe.”
