Here’s an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to show their chops as Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders is back with its second edition in India.

The idea is to help promising start-ups with mentorship and support from Google and industry experts. The programme is designed for women entrepreneurs in India and it will help them use technology to solve complex problems and are making a positive impact on society. The three-month programme includes mentorship, workshops, access to resources and networks for startups from across all sectors, including healthcare, education, finance, and e-commerce.

“The programme also includes access to Google’s global network of mentors, investors and industry leaders,” said Paul Ravindranath G, programme manager, Google for Startups Accelerator, India.

The first batch that recently graduated, included startups working on a range of innovative solutions, such as AI-powered diagnostic tools for healthcare, an app for menstrual hygiene management, a platform for rural artisans to sell their products online and many more.

In case you think you are eligible for the programme, using technology to create a positive impact and range anywhere from being bootstrapped to Series-A funding, you have till June 4 to apply.
