Sunday Classics Organisation presented a virtual Quizzingly Yours Chapter-2, over two days, that brought together over 60 participants.

The finals began on a cosy winter Sunday evening, with Somnath Chanda as the quizmaster. The 18 finalists were divided into two groups for the first round which was the elimination round, called ‘Squid Game Round’, inspired by the popular Netflix show. A tense buzzer round played out next, to the rules of ‘fastest fingers’. Nine participants made it to the grand finale, where they engaged in a battle of brains over various rounds like Take your pick, List-it, Mix bag, audio and video. From geography to entertainment, no topic was left untouched during the evening.

“There’s an abnormal void now that the event has ended. You go through the planning and making for such long periods of time and then the evening arrived and it was done. Every event of ours teaches us newer avenues to explore. It has been so excellent to create my own event. It’s a different feeling to host your own festival and it gets successful. We’ve crossed borders and what can be much more special than that? The idea of Quizzingly Yours came to me in 40 seconds. I always wanted to serve society and what else other than providing entertainment plus providing a service to humankind together can be better? All funds raised from the event were donated to the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy (IICP),” said Hrittik Ghosh, CEO and founder of Sunday Classics Organisation.

Quizzingly is a lockdown baby and began as an initiative to engage with the young intelligent minds of the country and have them compete in a quiz for a cause.
