And, that’s the concept Fizzy Goblet has explored in its new collection themed on zodiacs where you can customise your footwear with a zodiac charm you prefer, made of gold-plated metal. #socool! The brand has also launched their inaugural line of jewellery with zodiac pendants. We chatted with Laksheeta Govil, founder, Fizzy Goblet, to know more.
That’s such a cool idea. How did it strike you?
We all identify with some traits in our zodiac signs and I feel it’s so interesting how excited we get when we find someone who is our zodiac sign. It’s the sense of tribe and togetherness I wanted to capture with this collection. The instant connection which can become a conversation starter with the Fizzy Goblet shoes and jewellery.
Do you believe in zodiac traits?
I think zodiacs are fun and can be insightful but I also believe that humans are very hard to put in 12 distinct boxes. So, you can have the kindness of Cancer and the will of Leo and that is amazing in itself!
The collection looks so chic. What are your favourites?
I love the zodiac pendants we have introduced for the first time. I think the collection is beautifully and intricately handcrafted, there is so much detailing, if you look carefully. I think even if it is not your sun sign, you might feel like wearing them, so I think zodiac pendants are definitely my favourites along with black jutti heels from the collection. In the shoes, the black jutti heels are super comfortable and make a statement wherever you go, they elevate the look.
Do you plan to continue with the jewellery line?
This is for the first time we forayed into jewellery and we really enjoyed the process. If the collection demands it, we would love to explore more jewellery.
Which zodiac are you? What are your best and worst traits, you think?
As a Sagittarian, I really enjoy being spontaneous and I enjoy creating things. Most Sagittarians I know have that tendency. Sagittarians get very excited about ideas that they believe passionately about and the flip side to it could be that we can get a bit impatient if things take a little bit longer to work out.
