Halloween is that party of the year that gives us the opportunity to be our creative best. Replicating spooky looks of characters from horror movies, painting the face all black, white and red may not be everyone’s cup of tea and is time-consuming too. Skipping all things spooky and gory, The Telegraph approached make-up pro Abhijit Paul to create a creative make-up mood board for us. Models Meghna Bose and Sevina Kahlon sport the four looks. Take a cue before stepping out for the evening party!

Meghna’s look on a nude base make-up is highlighted with smokey eyes and complemented with charcoal-shaded lips. Open hair with middle-parting completes the look and complements the black smart jacket style.

Sevina’s simple make-up look on a nude palette is enhanced with dual shades of red and black on the lips. Straightened hair with middle-parting complements the look, styled in a black outfit accessorised with metal. “We chose structured black outfits for this chic Halloween lookbook,” said Kushal Chatterjee, stylist.

If an all-black look doesn’t interest you, take your creative skills a notch higher and add some neon drama to the black. It will break the monotony, too. Meghna’s gold-and-black smokey eye look is highlighted with neon pink and enhanced with an added lash on the waterline to make the look more dramatic. Nude lipstick and the hair tied into a high pony with feather headband complete the look.

Sevina’s smokey eyes are enhanced with an easy-to-do gold polka effect on the eyelids created with gold bindis. Extra lash on the waterline, neat gel bun tied back with feather hair accessories and nude lips complete the look in black and gold. “We wanted to keep the looks dramatic yet easy to do so that anyone can carry effortlessly. People can easily attempt these looks at home,” said Abhijit Paul, make-up pro.
