Simaaya’s Puja campaign ‘Power Dressing by Powerful Women this Puja’, was shot on September 11 at Calcutta Bungalow. The brand, specialising in Indian ethnic styles, styled nine accomplished women from different walks of life in their new Puja collection for this shoot. Styled by Pinky Kenworthy and adorned in Avama Jewellers ornaments, the nine women portrayed saris of vibrant shades, varied designs and different draping styles that enhanced their personality best, exemplifying how to deck up for the nine festive days ahead.

“Durga Puja, the biggest festival of Bengal, not only celebrates the triumph of good over evil but also the power that a woman holds. Today, women around the world have shown their mettle and achieved so much in all spheres of life. The power and energy for these achievements is what Simaaya is upholding and trying to bring to light with this campaign. This campaign features nine different saris for the nine days of Puja, worn by nine powerful women representing the epitome of grace, compassion, strength and achievement, thereby embodying the qualities of Ma Durga,” said Mayank Agarwal, director, Simaaya.
