Developer Fallen Leaf in partnership with Dear Villagers are bringing their upcoming cinematic sci-fi adventure Fort Solis to Steam on Mac.

It’s a psychological third-person sci-fi thriller that unfolds on the Solis Planum of Mars at an isolated mining post. The player controls Jack, an engineer who responds to an alert from the facility. He is not a soldier and doesn’t have weapons. All that he has is a multi-tool. In the game, the player will explore the station, gathering clues from its bunkers, labs and crew quarters. In the trailer, we find Jack in trouble and as the night gets darker, events spiral out of control. Jack needs to locate the Fort Solis crew members and escape. Fort Solis is built above and below ground. The base contains a variety of locations each with their own surface and subsurface levels.

The game utilises the power of Unreal Engine 5, which explains the immersive details in the trailer. Featuring a team that includes Red Dead Redemption 2 lead Roger Clark, Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Death Stranding), and Julia Brown (The Last Kingdom, World on Fire), Fort Solis grounds you in its hard sci-fi drama with no camera cuts, load times, or HUD.

The game is expected to arrive in the third quarter of the year.
