There are two big upgrades to the Fold4 this year. The first move involves bringing Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is the most powerful processor you can find on an Android phone. But power alone cannot win the game.

Power consumption needs to be kept in check without making performance suffer. Second, on the software front there have been important changes. The offers (live till December 25) are applicable on both online and offline platforms, including Samsung.com, Amazon, Flipkart and select retail stores.

Those looking to buy a flagship Samsung phone without getting into the foldable space, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, priced at Rs 109,999, can be bought for Rs 102,999 with Rs 5,000 bank cashback or Rs 7,000 upgrade bonus. Galaxy S22 Ultra customers can also purchase Galaxy Watch4 BT 44mm, worth Rs 26,999, at just Rs 2999.

There is an additional 10 per cent cashback across products, over and above all the offers using the new Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card.

The number of Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones sold for enterprise use has more than doubled year on year. From January to October 2022, the number of foldable smartphones Samsung contracted to enterprise customers increased by 105 per cent compared to the same period in 2021.

Applications for Appscale Academy are open

Google and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) Startup Hub are bringing back the Appscale Academy programme that train early to midstage start-ups to build high-quality apps for the world.

Appscale Academy's Class of 2022 saw apps across sectors adapt learnings from the programme to improve their UI, UX, security, user base, engagement rates, and ratings. MeitY Startup Hub and Google are now inviting applications for Appscale Academy's Class of 2023 aiming to help 100 more promising Indian start-ups scale their growth stories.

This year, MeitY Startup Hub and Google are dialing up their efforts to increase participation from startups beyond metro cities in India. Today, nearly 50 per cent of start-ups in India come from tier-II and tier-III cities in India. Applications will be accepted until February 6.
