Bollywood playback singer Pratibha Singh Baghel and producer and tabla player Ananjan Chakraborty struck a chord as the two released the music video of Anjaam E Mohabbat on August 25. While Pratibha lent her voice for the ghazal, Ananjan was the man behind the composition and production. Merchant Records, a record label owned by director duo Salim-Sulieman, are the ones who launched this romantic single across all platforms.
While the recording of the song has taken place in Seven Heaven Studio in Mumbai, the music video was shot in Shrutinandan Studio in Kolkata. While this duo took charge of the vocals and production, the other musicians involved in the song are Prattyush Banerjee (sarod), Rahul Chatterjee (sitar), Sandipan Ganguly (violin), and Raja Chowdhury (guitar). While Pinky Poonawala was responsible for the lyrics, the song was mixed and mastered by Kohinoor Mukherjee while Gaurav Gupta did the video direction.
Speaking on the song, Pratibha said, “I am delighted and honoured to have been able to work with Ananjan. It is my first independent single with a Bengali music composer and the song has become extremely close to my heart. We hope that the audience is going to enjoy the song and the music video.”
