Milee Droog Coffee & Bistro rang in the new year with an evening of good food and great music. Located in a 110-year-old restored Romanian palatial home,the bistro exudes warmth and old-school charm. The New Year’s party was a musical one with the city’s many acts dropping in for performances. The space was also beautifully decorated to be a winter wonderland filled with holly, tinsel, and festive lights.

“There is a warmth in starting the new year with such a large gathering of cheerful and friendly people.From coffee connoisseurs todie-hard foodies and music lovers, we wanted to make sure there was something for everyone. This night has truly been a memorable one.We love all our patrons, andhope that they will continueto enjoy the events that weplan to host in the months tocome,” said Aishani Lodh,co-owner.

Cooling and energising drinks like the Refreshing Rose helped keep guests fresh and wanting more.

Chicken Kotletti: These tasty crispers were fried goodness. Paired with the refreshing sauce and the creamy mash, they made for wholesome bites.

DJ Debjeet (left) played a seriesof popular tunes, during the countdown as well, like Levitating by Dua Lipa and Shape of You by Ed Sheeran along with many of his own remixes.Percussionist Aditya (right) left the audience mesmerised with a set of beautiful performances through out the evening.

Indian Spice Seared Tandoori Prawn: For seafood lovers, this prawn dish provided a delicious selection. The smokiness of tandoor with a flavoursome spice rub made for a great combination.

Guests were engrossed in the foot-tapping music and were quick to take to the dance floor.
