What to expect: The exhibition which started in 2010 with the initiative ‘Shop for a Cause’, is known for showcasing and promoting the best of lifestyle and fashion products mostly created by women working from home. Organised by Lions Club of Calcutta Chetna, this fashion and lifestyle exhibition in its 13th edit showcases a range of products in the premium segment including clothes, jewellery, home decor items, rakhis, footwear and assorted lifestyle products. Kids’ apparel, gift items and educational products will also be featured as part of the exhibition.
Organiser speak: “Lions Club of Calcutta Chetna organises PRAYAS yearly to raise funds for the treatment given by Lions District 322B1 Transfusion Centre near EM Bypass to thalassemia-affected children. Proceeds from this exhibition are also used to fund other humanitarian work for the less fortunate undertaken by our organisation. We have put together a huge collection of products by many brands so that shoppers’ needs are met under one roof. We request people of the city to drop in and join hands for a good cause,” said organisers Uma Saraf and Pratibha Shah.
