Tata Steel Kolkata Literary Meet in association with The Telegraph had to be postponed this year for the cruel third wave but the team decided to not let the city miss out on its annual tryst with all things art and literature. With four stellar sessions held online, the festival will return for a brief period on your screens. To be held on January 25, 27, 29, and 30, you can safely mark ‘occupied’ for the evenings as a lineup of stellar authors will be in conversation, live on Facebook and YouTube. While Galgut is set to discuss his Booker Prize-winning novel The Promise with author Sandip Ray, Andre Aciman, author of Call Me By Your Name, will speak to festival director Malavika Banerjee about his recent books and living through the pandemic and former CEO of Pepsico, Indra Nooyi will tell all as she speaks about her recent memoir My Life in Full.

“Tata Steel Kalam has etched its space in the January calendar. Kalam on the Net is a celebration of that and features some of the most well-loved authors and speakers of the world. The main on-ground event awaits us in end-March, meanwhile this is a great way to celebrate literature and books from the safety and comfort of home,” said Banerjee. The schedule is as follows:
