Korean glass skin is one of the most coveted things in the world of skincare now. With more than 10,000 homegrown beauty and skincare brands in Korea, the beauty business is booming in K-land. Daebak Beauty, a brick-and-mortar store housing top Korean beauty brands has recently opened doors in the City of Joy. Get your hands on a wide array of beauty and skincare products ranging from toners, cleansers, sunscreens, moisturisers, eye care, serums, and make-up, among others at the new address in Forum Mall, Elgin Road.
“I am truly excited to bring Korean Beauty to Calcutta not only in terms of products but also our culture and philosophy to fit and cater to the needs of the Indian consumer. As a Korean-American who has been in India since 2014, I have seen what wonders Korean beauty can do to Indian skin and I’m truly excited to be in the front seat of bringing positive change for Indians,” said co-founder Noel Ham.
“When I was first introduced to skincare I realised apart from exercising and eating healthy there is something extra we need to do for my face to keep it spotless, flawless and glowing. It’s not about what skin tone shade you have, it is about how toned, clean and hydrated your skin is. The whole idea of the store and our website is not just selling Korean skincare products but unfolding the secret steps to have flawless glowing skin,” said co-founder Eerai Dhawan.
