If Indrani Dasgupta Paul agrees to style a shoot, consider you’ve hit a jackpot because the lessons you will learn are invaluable. The OG supermodel was recently in town for a fashion gala and she managed to fit into her busy schedule this t2 shoot themed primarily on modern bridal looks. Right from picking outfits and jewellery at lightning speed because of the remarkable clarity she has to lugging them back to return them to the respective designers, she did it all. All the looks had a bit of Indrani in them. Smart, cool and intelligent. And in Indrani’s words, a “quiet elegance”. Here’s an album of what we shot. Enjoy!

We loved the laid-back charm mixed with an equal amount of oomph in this look on Tanisha De. If the co-ords were modern cool, the jewellery stepped in with its traditional touch. The pair of glasses upped the style quotient further. The eyes had a hint of metallic, matching the colour on the co-ords and the hair had braid detailing, complementing the chill vibe. "This was a non-fussy look and the outfit is something in which you can dance and float," said Indrani, who picked it for a resort wedding welcome function or a brunch while on a seaside wedding.

Diti Saha was a picture of demure radiance in this look. In keeping with the soft pastels, the hair was worn open. The outfit was teamed with a timeless pair of earrings, the colours playing co-actors to the shades of the sharara and kurta. The make-up was morning-fresh and the flowers further added to it. "I liked the silhouette. The sharara with kurta with an effervescent dupatta. The whole outfit looked very dreamy, great for Mehndi or a Sangeet or a day function and easy to pair jewellery with. It honestly didn't need much jewellery," said Indrani.

Tanisha was resplendent in the quintessential sari look, made fun with a "quirky" watch. We loved the blend of colours that travelled from the jewellery to the sari. The sleek hair matched the drama-laden eyes that told many a mischievous tale. "You can never go wrong with traditional saris because they are a classic and can team it up with a sexy blouse. The colour is a festive one that looks great during the day. Try it for a Sangeet or a Mehndi. I have kept everything else very simple," said Indrani.
