Samsung continues to be the number one globally in the television market and with the launch of its new lineup of Crystal 4K iSmartUHD TV in India, things are expected to get better.

“We have maintained that pole position for the last 17 years now globally. That’s because we invest almost $18 billion on R&D on a yearly basis; the money ($18 billion) is across product segments. What gets used today on television may tomorrow find its way on mobiles, or vice-versa,” Mohandeep Singh, senior vice-president, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India, recently told us.

The new range comes with flagship TV features, such as built-in IoT Hub with Calm Onboarding, IoT Sensor for brightness adjustment, video calling with SlimFit camera and more.

It’s the more affordable line-up of television that is engineered to elevate content viewing experience with Crystal Processor 4K that can upscale lower-resolution content and enhance colours while offering a captivating soundstage.

Since video conferencing is here to stay, the TVs come with SlimFit Cam. Consumers can enjoy video calling or web conferences on the TV screen with the TV webcam that can be attached without compromising the TV’s design or viewing experience.

“There is an unprecedented demand for superior in-home entertainment wherein modern Indian consumers want spectacular picture quality, immersive sound, an unparalleled gaming experience, and technologies that enable connected living with great ease,” said Mohandeep.

Powered by Crystal technology, the television is ideal for consumers to binge-watch 4K resolution. Available in multiple screen sizes ranging from 43 inches to 65 inches, pricing is between Rs 33,990 and Rs 71,990.
