June is shaping up to be a big month for hypebeasts. Nike is pulling all the stops for the 35th anniversary of Air Max, with a line of themed sneakers, while there’s a line of much-awaited collaborations scheduled, including the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft’s ultra-wearable NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe and the brand new Foam Runners by Yeezy.
Puma x LaMelo Ball is also expanding their catalogue with a lo-top version of their MB.01 silhouette and Stussy and Converse are collaborating to produce some archival silhouettes. But don’t let the drop calendar of the month overwhelm you. Here are the most significant sneaker release of the month:
Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase Bio Hack
Air Jordan is expanding its FlyEase roster with a new ‘Bio Hack colourway. It’s inspired by 2005’s Dunk High ‘Bio Hack’ collaboration; the theme had already been featured in the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in 2020. The re-introduced design is a low-cut version of the OG High, with the same material, colourways, air cushioning and suede overlays. The ‘Bio Hack’ theme runs throughout the colour palette too, with modern tones like Baroque Brown, Racer Pink and Laser Orange.
The ‘Bio Hack’ Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase drops on June 14 and will be available on the official Nike website and select retail outlets. It’s priced at $130 or Rs 10,147 (approx.). Available at select retail outlets. Details are available via Nike e-commerce stores and on their website.
Yeezy Foam Runner ‘Onyx’
Yeezy finally dropped an Onyx colourway for its cult Foam Runner, following the release of Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT ‘Slate Carbon’ which is perhaps the most comfortable Yeezy number (courtesy of the PrimeKnit Pattern upper and extended collar), followed closely by the Foam Runner.
The closest shade to the black-adjacent onyx colourway is the Yeezy Foam RNNR in Mineral Blue which went on to become one of the most sought-after colourways in the re-sale market. The Adidas YEEZY Foam Runner Onyx features a blended lightweight EVA and foam-produced algae with a sculpted finish and oval cut-outs for enhanced breathability. Moreover, the soft top layer in the footbed offers advanced step-in comfort.
The Adidas YEEZY Foam Runner ‘Onyx’ is priced at $80 or Rs 6,244 (approx.). It is available at select retailers. You can also find them here.
A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 2 ‘Airness
The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 2 “Airness” is AMM’s third retro collaboration with the Jordan Brand and follows Air Jordan 3 and the reimagined Air Jordan 1 from 2021. The brand renews its focus on classic, timeless silhouettes and features an off-white cracked leather upper, accented with burgundy faux snakeskin overlays, and a quilted liner. At the heel, TPU heel caps are featured in their original shape, with a semi-translucent styling.
The collaboration also dropped a short film titled Your Airness featuring poet and activist Kyla Jenée Lacey. The black and white clip is centred around a spoken word piece that highlights the resilience of Black communities.
They’re priced at $225 (or Rs 17,562 approx.). Find them here.
Reebok X Cardi B
After she onboarded Reebok in 2018, Cardi B was tasked with reimagining two of the brand’s staples, Club C and Classic Leather. For her newest collaboration with the footwear giant, however, the rapper perfects the popular Freestyle Hi. The ‘Let Me Be…Enchanted collection will feature reworked versions of the Classic Leather and Freestyle Hi sneakers with transparent straps and Cardi’s signature tongue graphic and will be available in monochromatic combinations like Glass Blue, Quartz Rose and Moonstone.
The collection will release on June 17 via a Waiting Room and starts from $75 (or Rs 5,853 approx.).

Kasina X Nike Air Max 1
Nike is going the full mile for the 35th anniversary year of Air Max, with a slew of collaborative colourways. The brand is teaming up with Korean sneaker label Kasina to drop the Made to be Together Set which commemorates heritage and cultural synthesis.
Inspired by the Korean tradition of gifting carved wooden Won-Ang or Mandarin ducks to newlyweds, the storied collab will feature a vibrant upper with a colourful Won-Ang embroidered on the heel and a graphic of two ducks underneath the translucent outsole.
The Nike Air Max 1 x Kasina sneakers are priced at $160 (Rs 12,487 approx.) and will be available at Kasina’s website and via select global retailers.
Air Jordan 6 ‘Red Oreo’
The upcoming white-and-red Air Jordan 6s mimic the cookie-and-cream 2010 Air Jordan 6 ‘Oreo’ which was inspired by a sports car. The reimagined version is a signature high-top which does not use nubuck for the upper and channels the original White/Infrared AJ6 from 1991 with a white tumbled leather and perforated Durabuck construction with hits of red with white speckles on the heel tab with a distinct Jumpman logo.
The Air Jordan 6 Red Oreo is priced at $200 (or Rs 15,609) dropped this. You can find it here.
