Keeping summer fashion and comfort in mind, lifestyle brand Duke Fashions has launched its spring-summer collection called “Spring into Style”. Embodying the essence of the season with breezy fabrics, bold patterns and unique detailing, the collection offers an array of trendy and comfortable clothing options for men, women and children of all ages. Think T-shirts to trousers, bermuda shorts to capri pants, and footwear.
“This collection introduces innovative designs and upgraded fabric technology for enhanced comfort. We’re prioritising sustainability with eco-friendly materials and production methods. The versatile styling options offer a seamless transition from day to night. What also makes this collection special is our collaboration with emerging designers. The consistent feedback from our customers has consistently helped us improve our fit and style. It’s our most creative and customer-centric collection yet,” says Kuntal Raj Jain, director, Duke Fashions India Ltd. The collection has been built around the ‘aviothic’ theme. “Aviothic means the strong desire to be up in the air. Aviothic-inspired fashion represents a fusion of aviation, oceanic, and futuristic elements. From the sleek lines of aircraft to the vast expanse of the ocean and the cutting-edge technology of the future, aviothic offers a plethora of new-age design elements infused with creativity and great detailing. We have only tried to push the boundaries in that realm,” says Kuntal.

The styles are simple and cool. “We’ve embraced the ethos of minimalism by focusing on clean design elements and understated details, including subtle stitching, discreet pockets and hidden closures. They add a subtle understated elegance to the apparel without overdoing the overall aesthetic. For example, simple, streamlined silhouettes prioritise functionality and versatility. From tailored shirts to classic T-shirts, each piece is designed to be effortlessly stylish without unnecessary embellishments,” says Kuntal.

The colour palette is a neutral one, featuring white, black, navy and earthy tones. “These are versatile colours that allow for easy mixing and matching, creating cohesive looks with minimal effort. Our crisp, white button-down shirts with clean lines and minimal detailing, classic crew neck T-shirts in muted tones for everyday wear, tailored trousers with a sleek silhouette and chinos with minimalist design speak for our design and aesthetic values,” says Kuntal.

He feels summer fashion has seen a shift towards “sustainability, versatility, and comfort”. “Minimalism and simplicity are the keywords now, with an extra emphasis on inclusivity and diversity. Fabric technology has equally improved. Now the focus is more on lightweight and breathable materials. Today’s spring/summer fashion is more about blending style with functionality, and conscientiousness,” he says.
