With a chock-a-block schedule that sees her shuttle between Calcutta and London and honouring innumerable commitments when she is in the city, spending a whole day with Dona Ganguly is pure luxury. t2 managed to do just that on the sidelines of a special shoot with Malika’s Kantha Collection, spearheaded by Malika Dudeja Varma. And much like Dona’s travel schedule, the shoot ping-ponged between Dona’s parents’ home and the hallowed premises of her in-laws’, the famous Biren Roy Road residence, that she shares with Sourav Ganguly.

To celebrate the spirit of Nava Varsha, the iconic red and white was the chosen palette. Malika picked kantha saris, dupattas and jackets for classy DIY looks on Dona. And, brought along phuchkas, chaat and biryani that gave our Nava Varsha pre-party a truly picnicky flavour. Snapshots.
