Chelo Kebab from Peter Cat: Neither this dish nor this Park Street restaurant need an introduction. Here’s a fun fact: Not long after Nitin Kothari opened Peter Cat in 1975, this particular dish started dominating. Traditionally, kebabs are eaten with naan in north India but it was served with rice in Kolkata and a fried egg was thrown in, too. And that’s how the Chelo Kebab came about!
