India has been celebrating since last night, and rightly so, as the Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) made history with Chandrayaan-3! August 23, 2023, has become a historic day for the country with Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander successfully completing a soft landing on the south pole of the moon. India’s space mission has not only become the first to do this, and the fourth country to reach the moon, but the event itself was another milestone with about eight million users tuning in to watch the live stream on YouTube.

Since the landing, social media has been abuzz with netizens lauding ISRO and team Chandrayaan, and prominent names from Bollywood and sports, as well as Indian brands have joined in as well.
