Designer Abhishek Dutta, who has worked extensively with khadi and the different weaves of Bengal for his collections over the years, is gearing up for a special show this month celebrating the 75th year of Indian Independence. Collaborating with the Indian Museum, in association with Virrayaa, the designer will showcase an exclusive collection highlighting weaves of Bengal and the khadi fabric. Models and eminent personalities from various walks of life will walk the ramp, constructed in the Indian Museum courtyard, in the designer’s contemporary-styled ensembles designed mostly in white. Here’s The Telegraph sneak peek of the collection, featuring actress Tnusree C, shot exclusively in the Indian Museum.
With the Indian Museum courtyard in the backdrop, Tnusree cut an elegant frame in this khadi-cotton and chanderi corset-styled dress. It is complemented with a handwoven chanderi bomber jacket, textured with embroidery
