Siddhartha Daga Bridal Lounge and Bandhani reopened doors post pandemic at their Sarat Bose Road address at the end of last year with a regal revamp of its interiors. Spread across 1,200sq ft, the interiors designed with grand chandeliers, Venetian mirrors and ancient arches complement the royal collection showcased at the store. Along with the classic Rajasthani tie-and-dye art of bandhani, the store houses bridal-wear in Indian ethnic as well as contemporary fusion silhouettes and designs including handmade bandhej saris, dupattas and lehngas, gowns, drapes, jumpsuits and kaftans featuring the craftsmanship by artisans of Rajasthan and Gujarat. With the spring-summer bridal season on, The Telegraph created a subtle-glam, contemporary-chic bridal lookbook from the store’s eclectic bridal trousseau in summer hues of ivory, yellow and baby pink complemented with the regal red and bright pink.

"Luxury shopping is an experience that you need to soak in.When I'm dressing up a bride for her big day, she deserves to feel nothing less than a princess! Brides want to try out outfits and want their own customizations and personal touch. The exclusive bridal lounge section of the store has been designed keeping them in mind. The intricate craftsmanship and fine finishing on each outfit along with customizations are our forte. With this bridal lounge, we aim to redefine the Calcutta bride's shopping experience and add an old world vintage charm to it," said Siddhartha Daga, designer.

The spring-summer favourite bright yellow raw silk lehnga is paired with a tulle dupatta and detailed with mirror-work for a subtle-glam Haldi-mehndi look.

Keep the sangeet look fun and flirty in the baby pink raw silk skirt with gota patti designs paired with an ivory organza silk shirt with ruffled sleeves.

Opt for an edgy reception look like Jessica Aaron’s simple, dewy-fresh look. The georgette ivory lehnga with chikankari work is glammed up with shimmering mukaish detailing all over. The red-pink bandhani dupatta on gazi silk amps up the look as an apt evening-wear.

The cocktail party look on Shrimoyee Ghosh is fuss-free in a pretty pink fusion jumpsuit designed with floral hand-embroidery. The dupatta styled with a muted gold belt around the waist adds a stylish touch to the look.
