What are you showcasing at The Dressing Room?

This edition of Wedding Diaries celebrates services in a big way. We have The Dressing Room, which is a curation of the various services for brides and grooms to help them plan all things dress-up for their big day in a way the city has not seen before! It is a capsule of bridal services that we are showcasing for the first time at Wedding Diaries this year. Every woman takes care and caution about the way she dresses up for her big day — be it her make-up and hair, or her mehndi, her jewellery, her clothes — how all of it comes together to make a woman the bride! Orient Decorators are showcasing their expertise in weddings at this edition of Wedding Diaries 2022.

What do you think of the concept of The Dressing Room?

It is I think a wonderfully novel concept and like most things with us, The Dressing Room also happened just like that, by chance over a meeting with Dolly Jain at our office. We wanted Dolly to be a part of Wedding Diaries this year and over the course of weighing options Dolly came up with the idea of a bridal Dressing Room!

What kind of response are you expecting?

We expect people to have a different perspective on these services when they think about planning their own weddings or for that matter while even being a part of their friend’s or family’s wedding. Something like this has not been done before and I am sure the city will love to explore the freshness of a concept like this.

What other services will Wedding Diaries have?

Besides the Dressing Room, there are services that showcase photography by Lensocrat by Rajesh Gupta. Rajesh Gupta, one of the foremost photographers of Kolkata, has supported our ventures from the very beginning and will be showcasing his fantastic range at Wedding Diaries.

Baisakhi Ghosh is a forerunner of aesthetic dos in the city. She will showcase a capsule of her work at Wedding Diaries with Baisakhi’s, to take the notch of visual drama higher.

Taj is bringing Timeless Weddings to Wedding Diaries to showcase the variety of options one can explore while planning the different wedding functions.

Our Tarot Fairy, Reshma Jain is someone that everyone looks forward to meeting. Her mystic appeal has a fan following across all ages. For a one-on-one consultation with Reshma, Wedding Diaries is where you should head to at Swabhumi this weekend, on August 20 and 21.
