“The Corner Courtyard has witnessed the inception of café culture in Calcutta. It specialises in continental food with more emphasis on British delicacies. The concept was to give a homely, cosy and comfortable feel in the middle of the city with several interesting food options that patrons would surely love,” said Sunaina Bihani, owner, The Corner Courtyard.
Baked Bengal Bhetki: This dish comprises Bengal bhetki, steamed and tossed in garlic butter and mustard sauce with mashed potatoes and herbed rice as add-ons, topped with coriander leaves. It resembles a simple yet flavourful Bengali lunch.
Greek Chicken Souvlaki Skewers: Chicken skewers craftily assorted with Arabic slaw (a combination of cabbage and salad), this stylish delicacy provides the right balance of zesty flavours of coriander and ginger pesto.
Cheese Fondue: Comprising premium bread and potato wedges that are beautifully served with melted gooey Swiss cheese, this delight is too tempting. As the name suggests, the cheese easily melts in your mouth, and is served with crispy baked potatoes in different flavours.
