Marbella’s, the popular cafe, which has outlets on Elgin Road and Hindustan Park, is known for blending a predominantly European style of cooking with a cuisine customised to the Indian palate. This time they have introduced a pop-up menu containing a host of Italian flavours, which further shows their mastery of Italian cuisine.
The idea is to “bring to people world cuisine which is not accessible in such a cafe-style setting”, says Roshni Sood, executive chef, Marbella’s. Authenticity continues to be the foundation of the menu at the cafe, alongside the introduction of new techniques and ingredients.
Handmade pasta, truffle oil and other Italian ingredients make the flavours powerful and layered. One can now savour a mix of flavours such as Parmesan and truffle, and simultaneously experience the subtlety of ingredients like saffron and thyme.
