Goan is easily one of India’s most popular coastal cuisines, and many dishes find a place on menus across the country. The Bridge at The Park, however, has gone above just mere plates and unleashed a power-packed goan limited-edition menu via their Goan Gusto Fiesta that brings in appetisers, drinks, mains, and decadent desserts from the coastal state. t2 walked in for lunch and here’s bringing you a glimpse of what’s on the menu.

Chicken Cafreal: A Goan-style skewer, this has chicken chunks coated in a minced mint, coriander and garlic marinade and then grilled to get on that nice char. The freshness of the herbs add more tenderness to the protein

Goan Sorpotel with Red Rice: This is a goat meat curry that is cooked with coconut vinegar and ground spices. The coconut vinegar adds great oomph to the dish, and the red rice is the ideal local and rustic accompaniment.

Bebinca: End your meal on a sweet note with Bebinca, a Goan dessert delicacy that has coconut, sugar and flour baked in the form of a layered cake. It was served with rich coconut ice cream scooped into a coconut shell that made for great visuals.

Tambdi Bhaji: This vegetarian dish is an easy yet differently spiced dish and will be liked by vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Amaranth leaves are cooked with some onions, garlic, chilli and coconut in a dry preparation. This goes very well with rice.

Sol Kadhi and Horchata: Staple refreshing drinks from Goa such as the Sol Kadhi is a really popular mealtime accompaniment made using kokum, coconut, garlic and chilli. Horchata on the the other hand is a sweet-tasting sip with almonds and rose water.
