Inside, the space is adorned with Oaxacan-inspired decor, including murals and neon signs
The main section has the bar, sombrero lights, tall wicker chairs, and a DJ booth
The walls are decked up with traditional Mexican art with framed pictures, neon “Hola” signs and a large ‘Mehico’ sign
The long bar sure has tequila flowing freely but accompanying it are signature cocktails like (L-r) Centro Paradiso, Mercado e Merida and Dona Perfecto
Oh hello, little tortilleria! Watch your tacos and tortillas get made from scratch here
The menu has dishes that are all things Mexicana but the Supreme Nachos (in picture, top) which are crispy nachos topped with black beans, sweet corn, melted cheese, lettuce, olives, jalapenos and a dollop of sour cream. Other pop picks include Chips and Salsa, Baby Corn Elote (in picture, bottom) and Pequin Chicken
‘The owners, Saket Agarwal, (co-founder of Manifest Hospitality), and his wife Nivedita, are avid travellers. They drew inspiration for this place from their travels to Mexico, recreating what they saw and experienced there, from items on the menu down to the graffiti. Nivedita is behind done the interiors of both Mehico and Sorano,’ said Joshua Benjamin, the marketing manager of Mehico
