Izakaya, a traditional Japanese bar, is a place where you drop in after work and chill in a warm and rustic ambience. Soy Yum, in Hindustan Park, is the first hangout in Calcutta to transpose you to a Japanese Izakaya along with several other interesting add-ons! The 62-seater space spread over 2,200sqft opened its doors on Valentine’s Day. With a cosy, contemporary, artistic and youthful vibe, the space houses an in-house bakery, Korean barbeque, sushi bar and an art store.

As a venture by the owners of Momo I Am, the café and studio has authentic Korean, Japanese and Asian delights. As you enter the space, the smell of freshly-baked goodies swimming in the air and chill music embraces you. With some days dedicated to vintage vinyl DJs, the double-storied café is the perfect hangout for you and your buddies. Moreover, if you have a sweet tooth or love baked items, get ready to taste some of the best in-house offerings that will be made only for you.
