Zara Chisty Abedin, a professional chef and one of the owners, who has a diploma in Thai cuisine, shared with us why she chose to showcase global cuisine through her menu. “I wanted to open a cafe serving global cuisine, where people can get a taste of food from different sides of the world. Most importantly, we follow traditional recipes as our motto is to serve authentic food, no matter the cuisine. We also offer handcrafted coffees that go along with our wide range of breakfasts, from English breakfast to American breakfast, Spanish tortilla Espanola, pancakes and Eggs Benedict. Keeping youngsters in mind, our menu includes sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pastas, wraps and momos. Here we have something of Turkish cuisine, something of Mediterranean cuisine, Burmese cuisine, and a bit of Italian, Thai, Japanese, and Mexican cuisine too. Our dessert section is rich with kunafa, which is a Turkish dessert, cheesecakes and brownie with ice cream, butter croissants and croissant sandwiches. It’s like I wanted to give the food which I know I can make the best. It’s a global cuisine cafe. Our theme is coffee, cuisine and culture.”
