Sourcing fresh catch from Chandipur in Odisha, and seaports in Chennai, each of the new entrant is a delight on the table. After creating loyal patrons with dishes like Bans Pora Prawns, Crab Chilli Soya, Paro Pora, Smoked Squid and more, the diner introduces dishes like Prawn Birdnest, Thai Squid Curry, Singapore Octopus and many more with authentic spices as the hallmark. Prawn Birdnest: Fresh prawns cooked to perfection with onion, garlic and chilli and tossed in tomato-based gravy. Rs 450
Butter Garlic Sea Crab: Giant crabs cooked in a smooth garlic and butter sauce is delish. Rs 400
Singapore Octopus: Fresh Octopus cooked in tangy Singapore sauce made with lemongrass, garlic, ginger, chilli and bell peppers! Rs 400
Mixed Seafood Pot Rice: Meaty and wholesome, this one-pot meal cooked with rice, fish sauce, select seafood and topped with butter and star anise is filling and flavourful. Rs 350
Thai Squid Green Curry: We loved this squid preparation that’s cooked in coconut milk, Thai green curry paste, lemon leaves, lemongrass and chilli. Aromatic and flavourful, it pairs perfectly with steamed rice. Rs 420
Mixed Chilli Garlic Seafood Pot Noodles: Tossed in butter, chilli and garlic sauce, this pot of noodles topped with seafood specials hits all the right spots. Rs 350
Owner Debasri Sen Ghosh says, “As you know we are the first of the food chains in Calcutta who is serving authentic tribal and seafood cuisines for eight-10 years now, and our customers has been loving them since. After serving the same dishes to our customers for so many years, we arrived at the conclusion to launch a few new and innovative dishes to the seafood menu. All our seafood products are freshly bought from Chandipur and Chennai seaports. I hope our customers show the same love to the new dishes as they did before.”
