India Jones, the popular restaurant at Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai, recently held a three-day special pop-up at Baan Thai, The Oberoi Grand. The restaurant traces the fictional character Bharat Joyent a.k.a India Jones’ travels and recipes from across Southeast Asia and hence has a menu that packs in multiple cuisines ranging from Chinese to Cambodian and Vietnamese to Indonesian.

Here's what t2 loved.

Black Diamond Fried Rice: Another bestseller at the restaurant, this fried rice had wild rice, mixed mushrooms and edamame. It almost had a nutty flavour to it.

Grouper Black Pepper: Oven-roasted grouper laced with freshly ground black pepper, sesame and soy-based marination. We loved the fresh raw mango salad on the side as well. A good complement to the peppery fish.
