From birthdays to weddings, anniversaries and more, a cake is perfect for every occasion. With Mavin: The Cake Boutique, you can ensure a uniquely designed cake accompaniesthe special day. Helmed by pastry chef Ruchi Chandak, the cake boutique specialises in 3D cakes which often seem to be gravity-defying or can even move, like the remote-controlled car cake. All preparations at the boutique are made egg-free and with the choicest ingredients. Clientscan customise at their will and the structures of the cake are then worked meticulously upon by Chef Chandak and in-house carpenters. Mavin’s clientele includes individual clients as well as bulk corporate orders. They have also collaborated with a few cafes and cloud kitchens to supply the products to them on a regular basis.
“Cooking has always been in my blood and that made me dive into the world of baking and start Mavin. Initially, I started with selling cakes in close circles, but now my clientele is all around. Being occupied with my family and kids during the day, I found late nights to be my comfort zone. Now with the work having grown substantially, I work on it round the clock. I regularly take part in cake competitions and collaborations. Apart from learning from Indian and international cake artists, I recently completed a certified pastry course in egg-free baking from the School of European Pastry, Mumbai. I also give private lessons on intensive baking, both offline as well as online,” said Ruchi. The Telegraph gets you the deets.
Fully functional hookah: For the hookah lover, Mavin has this sweet delight that is meticulously designed to not only look like a hookah, but even operate like one.
Piano: With a thorough design that highlights even the musical notes in the lyric book, this piano cake is gorgeously made and is perfect for any occasion.
