Mediterranean mezzes, eggless pastas, and a baking session for kids — a Masterclass for each and more is happening in Kolkata over the weekend! Conosh, an innovative food education platform, is organising a Masterclass Weekend from June 23-25 at The Kitchenette with popular MasterChef India contestants, Neha Deepak Shah, Nayanjyoti Saikia and Kirti Bhoutika.

Day 1: Mediterranean Specials by Neha Deepak Shah
Neha Deepak Shah, MasterChef India Season 4 finalist, co-founder of Meraaki Kitchen and Cafe White Sage in Jaipur, and immensely popular food Instagrammer will be teaching participants how to make a number of exquisite Mediterranean dishes, including things like different kinds of hummus, muhammara, baba ganoush, pita and more. Having lived in Dubai, Neha is familiar with the cuisine of the region and will be sharing the secrets of a perfect Arabic spread.
Sharing an insight into her workshop on June 23, Neha said, “Food and conversations bring people together like nothing else. I am excited to be in Kolkata to share my love for Arabic cuisine through Conosh; With Conosh, I share a long-standing relationship. Cheers to the great work they are doing.”

Day 2: Eggless Pasta Masterclass by Nayanjyoti Saikia
Nayanjyoti Saikia, the 27-year-old travelling chef from Tinsukia, Assam recently won the title of MasterChef India (Season 7). Known for his excellent pasta making skills, Nayanjyoti will be sharing some expert tips on making eggless pasta from scratch, as well as techniques on creating various pasta shapes and sauces. Join in to discover the joy of freshly made pasta.
Nayanjyoti shared his excitement about coming to Kolkata for the session and said, “I’m coming to Kolkata on June 24 for an eggless pasta Masterclass in association with Conosh and I’m super excited for my first masterclass with Conosh. It is the best platform for me to start this journey. I will showcase five types of pasta shapes and three pasta base sauces!"

Day 3: Kid’s baking class by Kirti Bhoutika
Kolkata girl Kirti Bhoutika won Masterchef India Season 5 at the age of 22 becoming the youngest MasterChef ever! After her journey with the competition, she set up the popular SugarPlum Cakery in Kolkata. Kirti has done what many aspire to do — turn their passion into a career. She has explored the world to bring back the best desserts for Kolkata. An avid traveller, Kirti conducts workshops and events across the country while encouraging the baker in everyone.
MasterChef Kirti Bhoutika will take kids on a baking adventure with adorable Cookie Monster Cupcakes, Fudge Cake Pops and many more desserts that the young uns can enjoy baking and eating.
About her workshop, Kirti said, “There is nothing I love more than teaching! I have lost count of the number of workshops I have hosted with Conosh! I am so excited to meet the kids, interact with them and teach them my favourite recipes, hoping they can make these recipes their own. These workshops aren’t just about recipes; they’re about experiences! I am sure the children will have the best time.”
