Parisian delicacies will now be an easily attainable treat in the city, courtesy the Laduree India pop-up that has opened doors on April 26. Located on the ground floor of Quest mall, the pop-up will mainly be selling their bestselling macarons that are famous worldwide.
Established in 1862, the bakery deals in a wide variety of pastries, macarons as well as candies. From its first outlet in Paris, the brand has now spread its wings worldwide in countries such as Canada, Belgium, India, Ireland, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Monaco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The Telegraph dropped by for some chit-chat about the brand’s upcoming plans, over coffee, macarons and more.
Actress Nusrat Jahan was spotted in a black-and-white ruffled dress as she sipped her coffee at the launch.

“I personally love it. It’s always been my favourite. The city could do with a cafe like this. The finesse is something that I really resonate with. It’s going to be a pop-up for now and we are looking to make it into a tea salon, in the next couple of months,” said Shivika Goenka (left), director, Quest. “Personally, I love this brand. For me to get this brand was more of a passion. We signed this in Covid times and worked through the pandemic. We are looking at expanding all over India. Delhi has three outlets. Very soon we will be opening in Calcutta as well. The love from Calcutta is fabulous, and that is our motivation to open a full-fledged salon,” said Chandni Nath Israni, CK Israni Group, co-founder and MD. Chandni has been the one to bring Laduree to India
