Summer calls for bites that are light, easy to digest and healthy as well and La Macario Cafe packs it all in and more in its summer menu. This year, the cafe brings in drinks that do not have any added sugar, making them healthy and natural. The menu also has fresh salads with avocado as the star. In small bites, there are tarts and wholewheat sourdough bread that packs in European flavours as well. The dessert section is the highlight with mango adding a great punch to it.
“This time we have a milk-based cold brew with Lotus Biscoff and we also have a cold brew tea where Darjeeling tea has been infused and served with orange and no sugar. It’s a natural drink and perfect for summer. We are also doing a Calcutta Nolengur Frappe, which is a must-try. Coming to food, there are small and fresh bites with avocado and burrata as the highlight. We have used edible flowers as well in the drinks and food, to bring in the feel of summer. There’s also Green Apple Salad which I would suggest people can try,” said Radhika Jalan, co-owner, La Macario Cafe.
We sampled two amazing options in drinks. While the Biscoff Cream Cold Brew is hard to resist, the Cold Brew infused with Citrus Orange is refreshing and is made without any sugar.
