Scoody on Lake Terrace, Southern Avenue, has become a popular spot for Korean food lovers. Opened by couple Divya Darsana Ghosh and Liao Yun Chi aka Steven — who also share their love for food — Scoody serves yummy Korean and Japanese delights. Every bite and spoonful we taste fills our hearts with joy. Good food is always equivalent to happiness and the dining den lives up to expectations. Homely in every way possible, the tiny yet cosy address serves a generous portion enough to fill two people up. Satiate your 'K-ravings' with a live Korean barbecue which you can assemble, and other delectable menu picks. Here are some of our favourites and it’s needless to say, we love them.

Co-owners Divya Darsana Ghosh (a trained chef) and Liao Yun Chi aka Steven (a former corporate) give t2 a taste of a live Korean BBQ. "We love eating and exploring cuisines and wanted to incorporate something new to this city, something flavourful and tasty. So, Scoody! We chose this space as it was cosy and homely," they say.

Korean BBQ: This is the eye-catcher at Scoody. With options like Bulgogi (pork) Samgyeopsal (Belgian pork belly), Dakgalbi (chicken) and Tofu & Mushroom priced at Rs 900, Rs 1,050, Rs 850 and Rs 650, respectively — the BBQ is the ultimate winter grub. You can assemble barbecued meat/tofu/mushroom, spinach, pickled cucumber, kimchi, pickled radish, mushroom, spring onion, Kimchi Jeon, and Korean pickled garlic and put it into the lettuce. Dip the assembled delicacy into the sauce and take a bite. The crispy, flavourful dish is t2's top pick.

Kimchi Jeon: Kimchi Jeon spells a non-vegetarian twist to something authentically vegetarian. Made with either vegetables, chicken, prawn or pork, these savoury pancakes taste superb. The twist to a usually sweet dish is its in-house sauce. Stuffed with lots of kimchi (fermented/pickled vegetables) the dish is served with a dip that you will dig. Priced at Rs 250 to 280 (depending on the filling)

Katsu Sushi: The cream cheese sushi just takes Scoody a notch above, not too gooey, but just right. The in-house sauce and the cream cheese are taste enhancers to the usual sushi rice wrapped in a nori sheet. Out of the box and oh-so-crunchy. Rs 350
