Fabbrica Originale brings its Neapolitan pizza and Italian treats to Park Street

A live pizza counter, an elevated dining experience, an aperitif-forward cocktail menu and more at the Italian restaurant’s new location in Kolkata

The second floor has lounge-like vibes and a minimalistic decor with blank walls and dim lights, with sofa and chair seating around marble-top tables, and is accented with lamps and indoor plants. Talking about the new Park Street eatery, creative director Naman Dhandhania said, ‘Our new flagship outlet marks a significant milestone for Fabbrica. The expanded space has allowed us to fully bring our creative vision to life, offering a more immersive and experiential dining experience that we’ve always envisioned’

We tried their Gnocchi Butter Sage and Asparagus Risotto. The Gnocchi was soft and pillowy tossed in a rich, velvety sage-infused sauce while the creamy risotto had a delightful sharpness from the parmesan, while the asparagus added some texture

We also indulged in the classic Italian pasta from Emilia-Romagna — Malfaldine Ragù. The hand-rolled Mafaldine pasta was coated with rich ragu sauce and topped with shredded parmesan and parsley. Ending the meal on a sweet note, we tried Fabbrica’s popular melt-in-the-mouth and fluffy Tiramisu

Fabbrica Originale in Park Street is open from noon to 11.30pm on all days. The approximate pocket pinch for two is Rs 2,500 plus taxes. They are also available on Swiggy and Zomato. Signing off, Raghav Kapur, CFO said, ‘With this new location, we’re able to expand our offerings and give our guests a wider menu that reflects the diversity and quality Fabbrica is known for. This new space allows us to push our culinary boundaries’
