In times of gourmet eating, nothing speaks of a comforting indulgence than the good old carb-loaded pav. Taking this familiar love for pav forward is the newly launched food truck in Sector V, Kebab Pavwala. It is combining the ease of pav or bread with the goodness of freshly made kebabs to create some lip-smacking to-go goodness. All sandwiches come in toasted bread, with a choice of filling and two sauces with masala onions and a side of potato wafers/chips. All sauces are made from scratch in-house and you can choose the sauce you want based on your preference. Mutton Chapli Kebab Sandwich: Spiced Mutton kebabs crisp on the outside and juicy inside, is topped with a yoghurtbased chutney that ties all the flavours together. Mutton lovers, you won’t be disappointed.
Batter-fried Bhetki Sandwich: A traditional Englishstyle batter-fried fish crisp on the outside and flaky inside.

Chicken Malai Cutlet Sandwich: An indulgent chicken cutlet crumbed and grilled, this has a creamy chicken cutlet that’s soft on the inside and crispy outside
Rajma Galouti Kebab Sandwich: Vegetarian kebabs made with rajma and their own blend of spices. The galoutis melt in the mouth and the crunch from the onion rings add a zing of freshness.
“Kolkata is a city known for its street food and we wanted to get street-style food but elevate it; a food truck allows us to be mobile and go to our customers. We wanted to take familiar flavours and present it in a new way that’s quick, easy on the pocket but doesn’t compromise on freshness and quality,” said Meenakshii and Nikhil Malkani, owner of Kebab Pavwala.
