“We have been constantly striving to curate immersive dining experiences for our guests to mesmerise all their senses when they visit our restaurants. Our Kebab-e-Ishq festival menu offers guests an array of rich and royal variations of kebabs in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The palatability of our kebabs lies in its captivating mix of geological and cultural factors, thereby lending it a distinguished taste. We have our hearts full of hope that the response to the festival will be great,” said Sayantan Saha, Joydeep Saha, and Rohit Chowdhury, co-owners, Kareem’s Kolkata.

“I feel very proud to cook for this Kareem’s kebab festival. All the masalas were made from scratch, in-house, the old-fashioned way, and that has really enhanced the flavour of our kebabs. The taste, aroma, and texture are up a notch. The special menu comprised an interesting mix of kebabs, some boneless, some indulgent, some chewy and some soft. We have planned portions keeping in mind how a family orders, with dishes of hearty flavours, but appealingly good value for money,” said chef Ramzan Siddiqui, executive chef, Kareem’s Kolkata. We tried the full menu and here’s bringing you our faves.

Tandoori Grilled Fish: Fresh and juicy bekti fish is marinated in quintessential tandoori spices and then charred till it gains a glowing brown colour. We liked the slight sweetness in the dish.

Peeli Mirch Prawn Tikka: Succulent prawns, seasoned well with yellow chilli powder and then grilled to a nice auburn char on the outside, creates this seafood speciality. We like the fresh hint of yellow chillies.

Vegetarian Seekh Kebab: One for vegetarians, this has a variety of veggies, mashed and then created perfectly into seekhs (skewers). We like the addition of saffron that lends it a beautiful sunlit colour.

Chicken Cheese Kebab: This creamy preparation has chicken cubes marinated in reshmistyle and then stuffed with cheese. As the kebab is grilled, the cheese inside melts and oozes out.
