Sonar Tori at City Centre Salt Lake is celebrating summer and the onset of monsoon with the king of fruits, with Aamer Utsav, which is on till July 15. This food fest has been curated with the lost recipes of Bengali cuisine amalgamated with mangoes. From chicken to fish, each and every dish has been exquisitely created using mangoes with different flavours. Whether it’s Aam Achar Bhetki Bhapa, Aam Dal or Aam Doi, the dishes are made with both raw and ripe mangoes.

“With Aamer Utsav, we have tried to bring nostalgia to the plates by making every dish with the seasonal mango. We have created all the dishes on the menu with natural products like the aamer achar, which is housemade. We want our patrons to visit Sonar Tori to experience our homely and flavourful mango creations,” said Chef Bhaskar Dasgupta of Sonar Tori. Here are some of The Telegraph’s picks from the menu.
